This website has served many different purposes in the past. It was originally created to provide information for family members as they came to Jackson, TN for our wedding. The website was a horrible monstrosity of tables and images. After learning about web design, I thought it would be a wonderful idea to turn the site into a place for friends and family to keep up with our lives. With my wifes lack of interest in learning HTML and the absence of a Content Management System (CMS), Facebook was a much better solution.
Now that this site serves no real purpose, it has become my sandbox. I am looking forward to sharing with others on my journey through web technologies. I am currently learning loads about PHP and MySQL by recreating the wheel and writing my own CMS.
